Inside, you’ll find a table and chairs for four—perfect for games or shared meals—and a bright, ample bathroom for added comfort. Step outside to your private outdoor sitting area and take in the breathtaking beauty of the páramo.

Built with local stone and wood, our ground floor guest rooms reflect the beauty and character of the Andes while offering modern comfort. Each includes quality bedding, plenty of blankets, and a heater for the coldest nights. Located a short walk (slightly downhill) from the restaurant and main lodge, you’ll also enjoy access to shared spaces: a welcoming lounge with a pot-bellied stove, Wi-Fi, a glassed-in dining room, and an outdoor patio with views of the condor cliffs.

Single Queen Guest Room

Casa del Aire

Wake up with the Andean Condors

Casa del Aire is a three-bedroom home set at the edge of Tambo Condor’s property, offering unmatched privacy and spectacular vistas of the cliffs where condors soar. Built as the original lodging on the property, it remains a popular option to stay at Tambo Cóndor. Inside, you’ll find three bedrooms, a shared bathroom, and a full kitchen—perfect for preparing your own meals if you wish. The house’s design reflects the Andean highlands, with natural materials and wide windows that frame the surrounding páramo.

While it’s possible to reserve individual rooms, we recommend renting the entire house for the best experience and complete privacy. Casa del Aire is ideal for families or groups of friends who want to enjoy a true highland retreat together. Access requires a sturdy, high-clearance vehicle; if needed, our staff is happy to assist with luggage down the unimproved road.
