Tour the Paramo

Unforgettable Day Trips and Tours in the Andean Highlands near Quito, Ecuador

Guided Experiences with Tambo Condor

Our day trips and tours are designed to fit your schedule and interests. Each activity can be enjoyed as a single-day experience, or you can combine two destinations in one day with an early start and late return. For safety reasons, we do not recommend driving these roads after dark.

For the best experience—especially for wildlife viewing and exploring the páramo—we recommend an overnight stay.

If you wish to enjoy all four activities, plan for at least two nights, and for photographers or nature enthusiasts seeking a deeper immersion, three nights is ideal.

Every excursion includes a knowledgeable Spanish-speaking guide and we can arrange English or other languages for an additional cost. Transportation can also be arranged. Because every itinerary is unique, we provide personalized quotes upon request, with rates comparable to other local providers.
